I do not think it's a boomerang. It reminds me more about the sling.

That does definitely look like a sling. If it was a woomera then where is the dart? In that position it should be ready to throw. I would agree: sling.

Yeah, I was thinking that myself.
There is literally no evidence of slings, let alone finds of slingstones in Australia.

I thought a woomera was a form of atlatl. Yeah a rabbit/throwing stick would make sense. I saw woomera and went with that
