Hello from Ancient Greece! (not really)

Hi everyone, I chose this name because I have a huge amount of respect for mathematicians, scientists and engineers.

I first got interested in siege engines, but I now need sling expertise to finish a project. I now see that slings are fascinating all by themselves, so I've started building a few.

My first questions will be about knots but I'll start that thread elsewhere. Cheers!

Howdy from Texas! You may want to check out the roboslinger theead in the Maths area. I hope to use siege engines to better understand the mechanics of the sling... eventually. Your siege engine experience could help a lot if you’re interested.
