LOL! The only thing that would’ve made it better is if the music had stopped suddenly when you smashed the radio  Grin

I had the same thought...

I always loved your sense of humor, Timpa. You should meet some of my friends.

So, Banditii wandered Finland in the 19th century, murdering people with cordwood?!

WHY HAVE I NOT HEARD OF THIS BEFORE?!

Just read through the Wikipedia page. It screams "HBO series". Finnish knife-fighting gangs, made up of people from all sections of society, roaming the countryside rebelling against an oppressive, fundamentalist society by getting drunk and fighting. I would watch the HELL out of that.

Isn't the saying in Finland something like, "Children use their fists, men use knives"?

Or in this case, birch logs.

Weren't they worried about getting a splinter in the middle of a fight?   Grin

Tough country people? Most of the old Finnish farmers I've met have been missing fingers that they lost to machines or axes. Splinters they really don't care about.

I agree on all points since my last comment. I'd watch that series.

Hell, I'd go back in time, learn Finnish, and join them!
