LOL

Funny you should ask. We have one in the camper,  with a mini septic tank. Well it froze yesterday due to extreme low temps, even for this area at this time. So now we are forced to use a bucket, and to dump it straight into the septic. Thankfully my old lady doesnt mind it..

it's a big shed !

wouldn't you be better off in the camper ?
It's already got insualtion, heating, cooking and bathroom facilities.
What's the thinking behind the smaller one room shack ?

The camper isn't insulated as well as I made this place. I used rock wool insulation.  The camper  isn't hooked up to any utilities either.  We get water from a manual hand pump, which after this storm I will be showing off

Thanks,  yeh. I drew up some plans about a year ago. But it's on my broken phone, so until I get that fixed, I can't view it, but I remember what I wanted.  A nice 30x30  square 2 story cabin is what i am looking at building

Great looking pack.  A tiny house makes perfect sense in northern Maine.  It's very easy to keep warm.  Love your updates. Keep them coming please.

It was something to get us through the winter,  slowly making it our own. On Tuesday a few items for my wood stove will be in, so that will be the next install. I already got the chimney on the roof set up.

Here is an short video I did today. 4th snowfall of the season so far.

This lifestyle is a lot different then living in South jersey. I love it here

We got four inches of rain the day before yesterday and it poured like hell all day today here in South Jersey.  As you know quite well we usually don't get our serious snow here until after the holidays.  I wish all of this rain had been snow.  We'd have six feet or more on the ground.
Your dogs are really cool BTW.

Thank you. I actually spoke with my mom today , who lives in Deptford. She calls me every day to check in. She said there was a ton of rain today and the other day. Thankfully I don't miss it t herre. Too restrictive.  We have constitutional carry up here. Residents and non residents DON'T need a carry permit for firearms. Totally different lifestyle and I love it. No matter how stressful it is,

She actually broke her nail, down to her quick. It was giving her pain, but I had her on meds, and put super glue on it. Now the bootie is on so she doesn't chew on it

Yesterday we got the wood stove fully functional,  here is a small video we did, which we found an issue, but fixed it. But we did have a fire all night. Only had to get up once to reload it. Its snowing now. The first thing we cooked this morning what's coffee in the percolator. The wood stove looks really close to the wall but the double-walled stove pipe only needs a clearance of 8 in which it has 16 inches. The cement board we used as a backer along the wall is cement with thin steel as the top layer with one Inch spacers connected to the studs of the wall. That reduces the clearance needed for the wood stove by 66%. The wood stove I have as in the video it says has two removable tops for cooking. I got this wood stove as part of a barter deal. I did 10 hours of manual labor of stacking firewood for the wood stove itself. The brand is a vogelzang boxwood German brand wood stove that is about 20 years old. But it is still unfortunately made in China. We will be doing another update about the wood stove as soon as we learn more about it while working with and cooking on it. But for now I am very happy with it. On a side note I haven't been this warm in a very long time we slowly got acclimated to the weather while we were using propane heater and still in the camper when we had snow earlier in November. This wood stove is bit of an overkill on this for the size of it, compared to the size of my tiny house. But I would rather cook us out open up a few windows and still be pretty warm which currently is what is going on right now.

I apologize for the long sentences, still trying to figure out Google Voice to Text thanks

That stove is more than enough for your tiny house. You'll be toasty during the worst of it.
