You have a great place to raise dogs. They can be free for most of their lives.  Of course there are more dangers for dogs (bears, moose, porcupines, skunks, etc.)  but I think if you asked them they wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks, I agree I think it was the best thing to do for the whole group. We mostly only seen moose here, but the dogs are usually inside when they come through the yard. My neighbors have more problems with porcupines and their dogs, then anything. But they are allowed to roam without supervision on their property.  Mine have to be within  visual at all times. The new dog we adopted. A tree walking coon hound, is gonna need a ton more training. He loves to roam, and I don't like it, but eventually I will be training him to hunt.

Thanks, she actually does have one. The shelter I got her from, didn't have much information or any kind of experience working with her in different situations.  But her temperament is really good.  Brains, not so much. But I still love her

Here are a few pics of the delivery of my tiny home built by the local Amish. It's a 12ftx 20ft building.  That we will be staying in for the winter until next spring when I will start building.this got delivered today. I just got to finish the insulation myself and set up my new wood stove.. next update will be about my manual hand pump for the water. Got that finally fixed and it's working

I wish. It's gonna be a guest house. We used it last night. ,my neighbor and his dog came over as well. He bought his propane heater. He is still in a regular tent, but just about finished his own tiny house. So last night we fit 3 adults, 4 dogs. In comfortable it was nice. So when it's one less person and dog, once I have it finished for us this winter, I plan on setting up ther wood stove this week,  and shower as well.

Last night got to 11 degrees, today got to a high of 16. We finally got it insulated.  But still waiting for the stove pipe. Before it can be installed for the wood stove. My neighbor let us burrow his propane heater, and with 3dogs. We are so freaking warm. Gonna be high teens for a few days. So we are safe. Also got 2 in of snow the other day
