Hello fellow slingers,

I've been visiting this forum for awhile as a guest and thought it was about time I joined in properly. So thank you to everyone for your information and inspiration that you have already provided.

I've enjoyed slinging for a few years. I found my way into it via a trebuchet project I was building in the garage, whilst the trebuchet was a successful project (threw rocks effectively and infuriated my better half) it was the sling and stone projectile component of the project which caught my attention.

I live in Melbourne, Australia. We have a large river very close to our house and I walk along it most nights with a sling in hand.
