Hello All!
In September, I'll be hiking the Long Trail in Vermont. Whole thing, End-To-End, 275 miles. In Vermont, backpack weight is important, because switchbacks are for people who shouldn't be on mountains, evidently.
Last September while on the Long Trail, I inflicted slinging as a hobby on a whole class of kids from Johnson College, because I had an absurdly large ball of string with me.
This year, I'd love to inflict slinging on more people, but beforehand I want to test this out: What's the lightest sling design I can make to carry with me to hand out? Include your sling's length, material, and pattern, please!
Break out your scales, everybody. The contest starts now! I'll post mine relatively soon.
