I would be too afraid a facehugger is going to jump out of that thing to photo it. But I guess even ugly mushrooms need love. Almost perfect fairy ring of large mushrooms on the bottom pic. Beautiful work nature!

On this note, I do love the fact that the traditional beliefs that fairies are dangerous tricksters at best and horrifying eldritch monsters at worst are starting to come back around. The 19th century fraudsters trying to pass fairies off as sweet little girls with butterfly wings failed! Long live the fairies that steal your children and give you tuberculosis. Far more interesting.
