Aren't they just ball bearings?

Pinball balls would be excellent ammo but at $160.00 each I'll stick to my river stones.  I guess if I was seriously hunting with a sling I might pay that price for such excellent ammo.
EDIT: I meant $1.60. Sorry.

$1.60 NOT $160

ballbearings are not good ammo. For the simple reason they bounce and richochet like you wou;dn't believe. Also pretty lethal.

I do have about 30 slightly smaller ball beartings I salvaged from old serial computer mice.

Have yet to use them.

The two inch ball bearing I've been using has been good fun. It's certainly not an every day, common use ammo just because it's so big and heavy that your arm starts aching pretty quickly but for a few throws just for fun it works well. Nothing stands in it's way Cheesy

I actually have a 3in 3 lb ball bearing. Never thought about throwing it. But I do want to forge into a knife.
