Try the following:
1. Put a target at ~10-15 meter distance.
2. Look that a tree is in your line of sight (~ 3-5 meters distance from you works fine), so that you no longer can see the target.
3. Shoot and be amazed
As long as I didn't think too much I hit quite well. And then I started thinking...
Figure 8 users have to find a suitable wall instead of a tree
(Hint: Don't use stones as these can bounce back at you from the tree.)

2: Hit Diana over horizontal obstacle 10m+ vision impaired.
i've tried: being behind a goal(soccer/football) to get a very close hit with a tennis ball at a target 30m.
but that doesn't count because i could see through the net...
it's a good practice in order to get the geometry right in your mind.

Yes, exchange vision impaired with vision completely obstructed and you got it.

Took me a second to get what you were referring to Teg. Guess Im too used to using a vertical release.
Though unlikely its also hypothetically possible to hunt game from behind cover in a similar manner. Peek around the tree just a bit. Get a bead on your quarry and take a shot. You would have to be a hell of a slinger though, or very hungry/desperate.

Because you would shoot the tree.
If viewed from top, fig 8 releases the stone roughly on the line of sight, whereas sidearm, balearic etc.
doesn't.

They're almost 2 different tasks.
Over a wall could be done any style and is more about ajusting to the drop .
Curving around a tree is more about sling position and projectile spin. I find overhand realease a put mostly backspin where a sidearm release is a side spin going right to left (right handed)

lol
well i can either curve it round the tree or use the same release point as a sidearm.
fig 8 is a fluid style.

I still don't understand all the names , I throw 5 different styles of Byzantine but there all still called Byzantine. Think figure 8 has a lot of variations too.
