My condolences sir. Hope you make it through this difficult time.

Right now here in south east Texas we are struggling as well. I am undecided on which pair of shorts to wear and the sole of my flip flops are wearing thin.

That seems like a wonderful idea! Perhaps, you should add something regarding their origin/ancient history.

For example, the Sumerians referred to the ammunition, not the "sling" itself (as we define it) as the weapon. In essence, the sling-stone "asig" was the weapon, while the "sling" as we see it today (Called "ebiḫ") was merely the tool used to "activate" it. There's actually a story in which the Sumerian goddess Inana gets angry at some mountains and intends to attack them with her arrows (Note it's not the bow, but her arrows/quiver that's the weapon), sling-stone, polished lance and "throw-stick". There's another story in which the Sumerian god Šulgi (god of manliness) brags about how he can take down four-legged animals with the sling-stone at the speed of lightning.

Not that people don't end up dead or seriously injured...they just aren't really trying to kill everybody on the other side.
