lol I know I'm always telling people to make their pictures smaller.
But could you make yours a little bigger please Smiley

Somewhere between 600x480 and 800x600 works best.

And welcome to the forum Smiley

Hello from Alabama.  As you may have noticed, this is an international forum.  If you can and if you feel like it, please post pictures of your slinging excursions.

Welcome! It's nice to know that there're more silicon valley rock-chuckers around. Smiley

Greetings, and thanx to all. To whom it may concern, I'll try to adjust picture as soon as possible, give me some time, I'm shoehorning my android media through newer apple hardware, and, well I've not taken the time to master the software. Mia culpa.

While fabricating the sling pictured above. It occurred to me that within the leather pouch, the straps could easily be tucked away, and a passable "hacky sack" could be had. Of course you'd have to be pretty cleaver to secure the works so everything stays put, but if you can't throw rocks, rather than standing around doing nothing, you could try to initiate a hack circle.
You know, I might have read something to that effect being done by native Americans. Can't remember.
Has anyone tried it?🤔

I think that's definitely a new one Smiley

'hacking' to me has  a completely different meaning Smiley

I used to be into hacky sack years ago. Never thought about using a sling though. I could see that working.

Welcome to the forum from another new guy!  When I started a couple weeks ago, I had the idea of using crochet hacky sacks as practice ammo, which I've been doing.  I thought that might have been an original idea, but used the search button and found not..  Converting the pouch into a hacky sack didn't occur to me though!  If we ever meet up at slinging event, we'll have to get a hacky circle going!

Love a good game of hacky , I used a 32panel leather hacky as ammo when I started. It broke pretty quickly.

Yeah, I really don't think the leather ones hold up as well as the crochet ones.. (plus since I'm vegan now, I wouldn't use the leather ones anyway... Cheesy )
