Glande displays.
Jun 5th, 2017 at 5:59pm

Recently got these coin displays in from Amazon to display my lead sling bullets (glandes) the one on the left is considered to be Roman and the one on the right, Greek. I think they look nice, and this way since they are contained, people can look at them without having to wash their hands after.

Thanks. They are suspended because there are two walls of (what I think to be) silicon, that stretches over them and keeps them in place.

I don't have anything sling related that a display case like this would be good for but I have plenty of other things this could be good for. I might need to get some... I had never seen these before so thanks Drakolith Cheesy

No problem. If anyone is intrested they are great for displaying something small https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01N8SUUDH/ref=pd_aw_sim_sbs_201_of_24?ie=UTF8&ps... quite cheap too at $3.13 US (at least that's the price at the time im writing this)

I've gone for 2 of these for my small collection of insects in acrylic. I think I can fit them in one but I got two because I'm sure I'll find something else to go in it Cheesy

Reverse engineering from 'glandes' + (knowledge of) Latin is (mostly) dead.  Sad

Edit: And nervousness over the result of internet searches on the correct singular?

if you want to call it in ancient Greek it's "molubdaina" or "molubdis"
