This is my all time favorite sling posted on this site. Don't remember who braided it.  Undecided

I did a Google image search of it and basically every result is in Spanish (which shouldn't really be much of a surprise considering the style of sling) and mostly on Christian websites talking about David and Goliath. It seems a whole bunch of websites have all copied it and not given photo credits (which isn't very Christian of them...) so unless it was an original post on the forum with the person that made it presenting it, it's going to be a pretty darn difficult search.

The pictures were originally posted by Hondero. Post #57 in this thread here:http://slinging.org/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1232817549/45

He writes that the slings were made by a friend of his in Madrid.

I attempted to braid a sling of this style. It turned out very well but after a while the sisal strands I made it out of started slipping out of the braid and gave it a fuzzy appearance. It took a very long time to make, but it is very strong and has not failed on me yet, it is currently one of my favourite slings.

I've actually done this to the sling multiple times, but more strands keep working themselves out with repeated use. They don't affect the functionality of the sling, but they are quite stiff and almost feel like cactus needles if I have it in my pocket. The sling still works great, and I much prefer functionality over aesthetics. The only other problem I see with it is that eventually all the strands will work themselves out and my sling will eventually loose its strength and break.
