These are quickly becoming one of my new favorite weapon types. Check out how it flies. Very beautiful.

Beautiful. I flinched when it hit the tree though. Such a shame.

It's too bad huh. The second shot you really get an idea of how well it flies. And how hard it hits for that matter.

Here's another one by our own Whip Artist. They fly very well. Almost the perfect rabbit hunting weapon, especially in the more open country out west in America. No wonder the American Indians used them so much.

Sad that it broke after few throwswhen you spend hours to carve it, one I did broke at first throw just hitting the ground

I have a length of caribou antler main beam that someone gave me for knife handles.  It's a just little short of a meter long.  It was actually too large for a comfortable grip for a a knife so I ended up splitting it lengthwise with a hand saw.  It made two rabbit sticks, one really good and one so so.  And so far, it seems to be almost indestructable.  Unless you hit a T metal fence post, that knocked a small chip out of it.   Sad

Bill does it fly well? Did you have to carve an airfoil shape into it?
