Is this a good way to store slings?

I know this is probably not the most efficient way. But I want to know if this is okay or if storing them like this hurts them in some way, and any other suggestions on how to store them.

Reading and slinging - you are well-rounded.
I use push pins to hang my slings by the retention loop on the wall.

I would dearly love to be able to hang my slings up but sadly we don't have the room or any walls we can start sticking nails in (student flat). For now a cardboard box has to do.

Thanks for the compliment! Interesting choices for how to store slings, I really like the idea of push pins. I might do that when I need more space to store slings.

Cliff Savage. Huh. I wonder if he ever reads the forum? Assuming he's still around these days.

Oh, sorry it's blurry I took it at night and had to use the flash (I'm not used to using the flash on phones) if you want I could take a better picture if that will help.

His book was pretty good. Had a few mistakes, like the diagram for overhand and underhand being the same.

Won't it be nice when we can put the Slingers Guide next to Slinging for Sport and Survival? Hey then we will literally double our library of How-to Slinging books. How cool is that?

that's better than stuffing them all into small bags like I usually do
Working on the principle that if they're all cosying up to each other in abag. They'll pas on tips and not get dusty - hell, they might even breed

That's better than what I usually do. I just coil the cords around two fingers and tuck the coil into its own pouch for a tidy wad. Well... sort of tidy wad.
(The only exception is my Balearic sling, which I drape over a doorknob, coat hook, or pole like a necktie. I don't like having to work kinks out of sisal if I can help it.
)
EDIT: Added a photo of one of the said "tidy wads."

I generally roll mine into a neat little circle, whether I am storing them or putting one in my back pocket. My favorite slings are draped over a leg of my mirror though for quick access.
