Stopping the bloody twist

Hi guys,

i found a way to stop the twisting while braiding.
It works like this:
On the side with the lower count of strings (left) you have to make a loop/slack if you lay it back on the other side (right). On the side with the higher count of strings you poll them fairly tight.

This gave me like 10° twist on 1-2 foot where before it had like 360° twist on the same distance.

In braiding I've noticed that if I pull tighter with the side that the braiding is twisting away from it brings it back in line. Is this what you are talking about?

It's easy to see in these types of braids:

Although I had not figured it out yet when making this one. (You can see the line kind of meanders about on part of it.

If you still can't play it, try instaling gom player or vlc player. If that doesn't work you must have an apple mac and you're on your own, and deservedly so
