THey seemed an almost ideal round size and are decently heavy When Wet and fresh. Has anyone ever dried one and shot It? If not I'll let you know soon.

They are lighter and more uneven so their flight path is more erratic.
Did you also try to sling them with the avocado around the pit ? :p

Nope, The avocado went on the tacos.  We have a ton of taco trucks and Mexican restaurants here should be easy to find.

The fresh pits fly best. We eat a lot of avocados and my wife always saves the pits for me. She knows I like to sling them.

I sure have, I eat a ton of avocados!  I agree with slypercio and Caldou; they are best to sling fresh as they lose weight when they dry out.  Although overall they are a little too lightweight to sling comfortably, and don't fly straight.

There was a time when I was hoarding the pits in my freezer; I had like 50 or so, lol.  I did a sling session aiming at a glass jar.  The ones that did hit the jar smashed the pits into pieces.  But one must have been in the freezer a while and froze rock solid because it actually smashed the jar.  I was amazed! Shocked

Yep they definitely don't last very long.  I only got a couple throws each pit before the broke into pieces.

Oh that's right, it is kinda cool when the two halves separate mid flight.
