best pocket knife I've had - apart from my mantiss buzzard - is an ozark trail liner lock I got in walmart in wyoming 9 years ago. Think it was around $5.
It's been in regular use as my dog walking knife for chopping brambles, rose briars or anything else that annoys me and needs pruning when I'm out with the dogs.
Get's a quick sharpen every now and then with the diamond file on my gerber multitool, tested it last week and it's still shaving sharp after 9 yeras of pretty regular use
Got my dad a pricier gerber at the same time. And my ozark trail is in much better condition after a lot more use.
Sometimes price doesn't reflect quality or longevity of a knife.
