Scuba diving knife

Here it is, my 2016's first knife.
Born this morning (it's 4.20pm now here) in a couple of hours of filing and grinding.
Inox steel, double edge, it has a small saw and a cutting "V" much needed when you're stuck in a fishing net and need to cut a lead wire with the smallest effort (the more you move, the more you get stuck).
Handle and scabbard will be made of plastic, probably a water pipe.
Still have to harden it, will do that in a month or so when it will be warm enough to work at the outdoor forge  Smiley

Did you hammer that out first or is it all grinding or filing?

When you put the handle on, be sure to post lots of pictures.  I have never put a handle on a narrow tang like that and am wondering how to do so with out the handle coming off or having to cut threads for a nut or something similar.

well if using a water pipe: ie hollow polypropylene, I'd be inclined to notch the tang and fill the pipe with low density epoxy and then jam the tang into the epoxy Smiley

Low density because you want it to float handle up if you drop it.

Thanks C_A, the low density is something I didn't even consider.
