Great! Drop in some pictures of your work, if you can. I'm always interested in seeing others slings.

Another Hello!

You mentioned coins, some of the members copied the form and style of throwing of the slingers that are imprinted on ancient Greek coins.  We don't know if it is correct but we call it the "Greek Throw".

The slings I make and use are mainly split pouch ,made from flax or linen ( they are the same?) tight braided 60-80cm sometimes 90cm.There have been a lot of experimental lengths and designs.

About the greek throw,I learned from this site so I know it and i 've tried it,but i dont prefer it.it's too abrupt and i prefer a motion like pitching a baseball.

I should mention that nobody here slings(of course there are no traditions about it), exceptions are some friends i've taught to.People here know sling mainly from david and goliath, some from history and some others from Rome total war.
