Trying to find a slinging spot..

I cannot really sling well where I live, especially not in winter time because we and others in our street are burning wood for heating (I get throat issues because of the smoke). Now I'm trying to find a decent slinging spot where I live. It's hard to find a good spot in a small country, without any wild nature that isn't protected and / or prohibited. With a population density of 406 people per kmē, 497 if water is excluded, it's hard not to be bugged by other people. Sometimes I really wish I was born in a different country... Norway for example.
I hope this is something..maybe I can stick a target up here somewhere and sling tennisbals without being seen / disturbed all the time.

I have plenty of space to sling, just nothing to sling unless I make it or haul it in.
Do you have a school with some type of athletic field near by? A tennis court?

I Was going to say maybe you could play at a school once the kids are gone for the day. They usually have lots of space and probably a wall to hit against too.

Tennis court: one with a practice wall or fence would work ?

We have a couple of secluded tennis courts within walking distance of my house. To make a target I make a square with duct tape on the chain link fence.

No school nearby that has an atletic field. Tennis-court, yes, but not a public one.
I'm planning on getting a good rugged mountain bike, so I can just tour through the country/see if a find a good spot to sling.
No stones anywhere to be found, except where they have been put artificially where I live (very bad, rugged stone) So I have to bring my tennisballs.

That's probably a sort of a good thing. It gets you out and about and off the beaten path, so to speak. And you get away from the smoke and out in the country, which is also a pretty good thing. I just hope you find a good spot that doesn't have to turn into an expedition to get there.

As someone who has had to adapt to indoor apartment slinging, I feel your pain.

Throw tennis balls or marshmallows and the possibilities open up quite a bit of where to throw!

I just bought a good 2ndhand mountainbike (specialized rockhopper) for a very good price. Now I can do some cross country touring and hopefully find a good spot to sling.

Today I went to the given spot in my opening post.
https://www.google.nl/maps/@53.1921966,6.7411871,3a,75y,88.88h,87.09t/data=!3m4!...
This place is better than I thought. It's about 6 km away from where I live, so it's not that far away at all. This time of the year it is relatively secluded, didn't see any other person at all. In the forest there is enough space to sling, especially now that there is much less growth. The trees are placed far way from each other so I can even sling Balearic style if I want to. It is located in a (man made) nature reserve (1700 ha).
There is a small dump of sand/mud in the middle of the forest just high enough to be a target. I do have to bring my own ammo, though, but you can't have everything. All in all, this is a good spot, and tomorrow I hope to go again.
