Well I'm certainly no expert, but your form does look pretty decent. There's good hip rotation and you're definitely getting a lot of power.

Also the actual video was very enjoyable - great slow mo!  Cheesy

Looks like some of the Balearic competition slingers-- congratulations, it's a difficult style to get accurate. The last two shots really superb. I wonder if David Morningstar would agree with me that the actual release revolution+shot sees the arm move too much (forward then back), hence losing some distance and power in the sling travel.

Looks very nice, for sure. Beach at low tide ?

Looks like good slinging to me!
And going out on a limb here.... Is it a thick and heavy sling you're using?

Thearos, we are on the same wavelength.

Blackfur2, I would suggest holding your hand higher during the windup spins and making the plane of rotation a little flatter. Don't pull into the final rotation because this wastes a lot of throw length. Pull out of the last rotation, keeping your arm long so your hand covers the longest possible distance during the power transfer phase. You are trying to 'surprise the stone' by moving your hand forward while the stone is moving backwards.

Take this video of mine as an example - it is Helicopter with an overhand throw rather than Balearic with a sidearm throw, but the principle of keeping the hand back until the actual throw begins is the same.

Okay, there are a few things, but it still looks pretty good.  Ammo goes in the right direction, reloading is fine.  Awesome site.

It is a beach at low tide the high tide is about where am standing the seaweed u see further up is spring/summer high high tide or what ever it's called its a nice place to sling pretty quite most of the time and nice views of the forth rail bridge Smiley

Just what they say above, watch the arm until it`s time to throw.

arms are fine, technique is good.
Most of these guys over think things Smiley
The left arm is actually helping with balance and follow through. So don't change any of that.

The little crouch before the throw to add extra power to the legs (you probably don't even realise you're doing it) is particularly good.
There's a lot more power comes from the legs in slinging than most people realise.

The thing to try if you want to increase accuracy is to stop the rotations.

Just do a straight sidearm throw without the balearic fiddling around.

It's ever so slightly less powerful but much much easier to be accurate with.

30 seconds in.

Try that. The compulsory balearic rotations were addded to make the target competitions harder.
A non-rotational sidearm style has more or less the same power and is much much easier to be accurate with.

You're using a fairly long sling so sidearm is never going to be the most accurate style.

Greek or fig 8 is much better suited to longer slings and target shooting.

And I am very jealous of that beach Thumbs Up

CA is right we do overthink it all lol
Reason I asked about the weight is cause I've had bad experiences with big heavy slings. I find they seem to steal some of my power when they snap open.
