Massi - WTF? It's called a sling. You use it to throw rocks farther and faster than you could otherwise. That's all.

well, avg, firefox and just about every other browser and malware software doesn't find anything.

It's a chrome issue.
I'll look into it - but best advice, don't use chrome Smiley

Given that there are no adverts on the site and not that many attachments in the slingers guide section. There isn't anywhere for the malware to be hiding.
Added to the fact that nobody else has had this issue - or at least if they have they've kept quiet about it - and round here that's unlikely  Grin

Whatever it thinks it's picking up has to be an anomalous reading.

I've got Chrome on my computer, it's not showing the same message.  It opens normally.  Is there a link on there that you tried to follow?

The URL isn't for the guide section. That string of numbers (1348490618) is the location of one of the threads.

it is the "making progress" thread.
at least it is that URL.
I'm not getting anything and I tried it in Chrome and chromium.

hmn. I don't think there are any attachments in that thread.
I wonder if Heartbleed affected slinging.org?
chrome does wierd stuff, and I prefer chromium or Iron because of that.
