Tutorial: A fast way to make a "Lovelock"-like sling

Here is my latest work: A tutorial about how to make a Lovelock-like sling. This tutorial is a sequel of my previous tutorial: A sling with a knotted pouch (
http://slinging.org/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1357568101/0
).
In this tutorial I describe a knotting technique, with which you can reproduce the structure of the sling from Lovelock cave. It is not an exact reproduction of the original sling. I changed the number of warps, the density of the pouch as well as the pattern and the speed at which the width is increased. But the working principle is the same.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
If you notice typos, unclear descriptions or have other remarks, please mention it. It is very much appreciated!
Have fun!

Nobody interested in this tutorial?
Not a single comment is a bit disappointing for the time I spent on it...

Very similar to Matthias's looped warp pouch. Woven (I like) and separate from the sling cords. Pretty cool.

Massi - WTF? It's called a sling. You use it to throw rocks farther and faster than you could otherwise. That's all.

A very nice tutorial!
I've never much studied the Lovelock sling or how it was made, but with your tutorial it shouldn't be hard. I really like the variations you put on your sling. Thanks for all your work!

Saved both pdfs. That knotted pouch looks especially stunning, I'll have to give it a go!

Great tutorial, Teg.
I´ve been offline for some time (especially because I could not attach pictures), so I´ve seen it only today.
Sure I´ll give a try, after having finished my actual sling.

Sorry Teg, I should have posted something when I read it. Its great, I have downloaded the pdf and I will be making one some time.
Also, I will approach the museum with your request for Lahun sling photos. I have just started a new job so it is a matter of finding some spare time!

Thank you all very much for all your replies!
The biggest fear of every author is not to be read
. As two weeks had passed I was a bit worried, that it somehow may pass away unnoticed.

David, I really appreciate your help!
Please take all the time you need. The project is currently on hold, as I have myself trouble to find some time.

Double post! I´ve shown my finished sling already in the picture thread (p 260), but then I found it would be good to have it in this topic, too.
@ Teg. Great tutorial! Sorry for responding the pm so late, I´ve been in holidays without computer.
