  Following is my own Petitions for Merit Awards and Rank.

   RANK OF NOVITII

   I believe that I have achieved the Rank of NOVITII based on the fact that I have satisfied the stated Requirements for said Rank with the Merit Award Petitions that follow.

    RANK OF TIRO

    I believe that I have achieved the Rank of TIRO based on the fact that I have satisfied the stated Requirements for said Rank with the Merit Award Petitions that follow.

    Distance 1

    I have managed to throw a number of Golf Balls out to about 150 yards with a couple of Cobra’s head pouches.  I do have some video right here, (which is technically my first ever slinging video) but you can’t see the balls very well (if at all), but I assert that they did achieve the stated distance.  At first I thought they were getting to about 200, but then I learned how to read the range markers better, LOL.  

     Technique 1

     I have become Proficient with the Figure 8 Technique.  There are a couple of videos here, and here that verify this.

      Sling Crafter 3

       I have crafted at least 5 different types of slings.  Pictures found at links below.  Also, I have taught my friend how to make two different styles of sling.  I cannot provide pics or videos for this but assert that it is true.  Also, I have posted a Tutorial which can be found here.

      I have spoken with at least 12 people right off the top of my head about Slinging in general and directed at least 10 of them to www.slinging.org.  

     To summarize, I believe that the above Merit Awards will qualify me to achieve the Rank of TIRO.
