What this section is all about

For a number of years we've had discussions about standardising targets, scoring methods, rules for slinging as a sport etc.
And very little has come of it.

This section is specificially for getting a set of rules up and running. Both for slinging as an international sport and also for implementing a practical awards system.

I know there are a lot of slingers who don't want any part of standardisation. And that's fine. This section is for those who are interested in developing slinging as a sport. And in developing awards based on slinging achievements.

If slinging is to ever find its way back into the public domain, it has to be through slinging as an organised sport.
Likewise, if there is a set of standards that slingers can strive to achieve - that too will give new and old slingers a tangible achievement to aim for and maybe a bit more incentive to continue with the sling.

That being said - let's get on with it Smiley
