How did you make the handle for the Mora? I'm guessing that you took multiple types of different woods and cut them at specific angles. The black and white peieces are some sort of washers also cut at the same angle? Glue together and sand? Or is it something a lot more complicated? That's really awesome either way.

And is the second fixed blade (not the Ontario) completely hand made by you, or did you get the blade from somewhere else?

Mora - I've made little photostory, one picture is worth more than 1000 words Wink Look at this:

Before oil:

Second knife is a full tang, it's made of Vtech 16200, nice knife, cheap and good for modding. It's very similar to RAT 3, but is smaller:

"The black and white peieces are some sort of washers also cut at the same angle? Glue together and sand? Or is it something a lot more complicated? That's really awesome either way."

Black and white pieces are some spacers made of black fibra 1mm and an aluminium from beer can (my substitute of "new silver", known also as argentan, pakfong, melchior, alpaka, alfenid, arfenil, neusilber). Everything glue with regular epoxy resin, wood cut at the same angle. There is a ipe lapacho, jatobe and two pieces in the middle, I don't know what wood it is. After shaping (second picture from bottom), finished with a lot of sand papers, oiled and waxed with beeswax for shine.

Mora was easy to do, but requires a lot of concentration; in this project I've made some mistakes, but it's forgivale, because this is my first hidden tang, which I've ever made Smiley

I really like the first one, there was a lot of work and some good thinking that went into that handle.

Yes, I agree.  I liked the first knife the most though all of your work is very good.

Kershaw Blur

Can't trade you anything (heck, I need a folder badly, the only one I have is a very old handmade piece and I'd hate to damage it more than I already have. Plus it's a pain to get open because of a tight spring), but on Ebay you can usually find Kershaw blurs for around 20-30 dollars, new. Watch bids closely, every few days there will be one that stays pretty low and you can get it cheap. Plus you support other knife guys who sell this stuff.
