Nice painting! How have you done that?
I think you'd like these works of a friend of mine: www.michelagaleazzi.it

I glued egg carton pieces onto a canvass, then used acrylic paint. I am currently working on a large version using a large half inch thick cardboard sheet that came off of a palate at a store. It's pretty large.

Well, thank you. I appreciate that. I didn't get as much paint coverage as I wanted. You can see small points of grey egg carton. I didn't see it until I was done and i didn't want to mess with it and screw it up so decided to leave it as is.

Well, but natural rock isn't always monochromatic - I mean a cave wall is not just orange, it can have gray veins as well  Wink
So no need to correct your painting in my opinion.
Nice album by the way! Did you cast the bronze sword?
Greetings,
Mauro.

Yes, that sword was one of two. Along with an Axe and a pole arm type weapon. Not sure where they are. Sadly I no longer have access to a furnace so my bronze casting will just have to be in the realm of wishful thinking.

Ironsmithing and general metal working section.
There're a few threads on bronze casting and you may find them useful!
If not, feel free to ask me  Smiley

Until you said it was on egg carton, I thought you had actually painted it on a rock face somewhere and I was going to caution you to make sure you signed and dated your work so someone a lot later didn't think it was an origional cave painting, I would say you nailed both the spirit of the wolf and the beliefs behind the cave paintings.  I fit the second catagory for this painting.

Thank you for the compliments. Smiley I tried to do another one using spray paint but It didn't work. I used auto primer to have a base coat, but the spray paint didn't want to adhere to it. I'm going to paint on it and see how it goes before I make another one.
