Greetings from Texas

Hello all. I'm from Texas and recently became fascinated by slings from reading the story of David. Does anyone know where I can obtain a sling?

Welcome aboard.

Theres a thread for obtaining new slings for beginners. Try that first. Outside of that most people here, including myself will gladly get you started. PM me if you want. Part of the joy of slinging is making your own. There's tons and tons of resources here, probably the most anywhere in the world. You definately have hooked up with the central source for all things slinging. http://slinging.org/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1271708153

Hello from Alabama!  As far as getting a sling, what Pikaru said.  Aussie will also send you a seatbelt sling, they are great for learning with.  Also, when learning to throw, use tennis balls and the center of a football field.  Sooner or later, you will hit something you don't want to break, like your head, and at first, it is a challenge to get them to go in the direction you want.  Stick with it, slings are a fun, challenging weapon.
