Where to start......

I guess it started with boredom. I had not had a paracord project done in a while so I hit google to look something up to do. The paracord sling caught my eye, so I printed the instructions and turned out three.

The next morning I went for my walk and stopped down by the river and give the sling a try. I'm glad I was the only one around for a number of reasons. But I found it enjoyable none the less, so I looked into how to sling, watched the videos and found this site. I've turned out two others since and a a few blanks for more.

Now I enjoy slinging, now that I know how to do it right. Even got my nephew into it by giving him one of the other slings and went down to the river and slung rocks for quite a while.

I am an Anachronist. Why am I this? I looked back on my childhood, young adult life and current interests and have found that they all have one thing in common, they involve time era's long past. I find enjoyment in learning, demonstrating, educating and taking part in aspects of history long past.
