Long Post, so scroll down for actual answers if you feel like wasting time  Smiley

1) slightly disagree- I don't really care, but now that I think of it, I think it's just superstitious nonsense.

2) slightly agree- I think it is very conceited, stupid, and foolish to believe that there isn't some sentient species out there (assuming you believe in different scientific theories and agree that there are trillions of more stars, and even galaxies out there). I wouldn't be surprised if there was a certain amount of sentient life even in our own galaxy. Whether or not they are piloting their own spaceships....well I don't know. If they were sufficiently advanced, or invented any means of travel, than sure, why not. But if they hadn't invented these things, possibly had the necessary adaptations to not need many inventions, and had a very rigid society that didn't allow new things, then who knows?

3) Slightly disagree. I think that there's no chance of a God, but if there was, then strike me with lightning, I was wrong. I don't care much, and I'm not really going to argue about that.

4) Strongly disagree. If you went to the past, then that means you already went there, before you went there, and that you may have existed before you existed, or possibly even existed in two places at the same time. Going to the future doesn't work either, because you still have to go back.

5) What do you call the currently accepted timeline. If you mean the 6000+ year Judeo/Christian one, then yes, strongly agree (and no disrespect to others, just my honest opinion).

6) Strongly disagree I'm Chinese and my parents believe in it, but I think it's the biggest load of hogwash/superstition ever.

7) Slightly disagree. I would risk my life to save someone, but I wouldn't sacrifice myself to do it. I'd love to say I would do it for the greater good, but chances are I'll just save my own ass and hightail it.

8) Neutral. I like animals, but I wouldn't say I'm very much of a lover, or any more than general 'das cool'

9) Strongly agree? If you mean by 'do you try to be friendly, respect others, etc' then yes, I try (and fail Grin). If you mean by gay love, then I have nothing against it, but I'm personally straight.

10) Slightly Disagree. In some cases it's correct. I believe that in premediated manslaughter, mass murder, repeated murder, or rape than the guilty should be give a quick and speedy execution. No pain at all to the convict, he/she has blatantly ignored everything and deserves no less. However, they should not be in pain at all. Rather, it should serve as a warning to others.

11) Slightly Agree. Civilians, with permits, and with a background check should legally be able to own a weapon, should they want to. A hunting rifle should have less legal restriction (E.G. a less thorough background check) than say a pistol, or an automatic rifle or machinegun which should require a really thorough check, mental health check, and even more security checks towards whether or not they can safely keep it. As long as they meet criteria, then what the hell, why not? Permits should be renewed as well.

I do disagree with people who believe people should be allowed to own guns without any permits or checks that may 'infringe upon your rights' and that people should be able to acquire an RPG just as easily as a low caliber hunting rifle (outside of price and availability)

12) Slightly Agree. see answer 10

1) Favorite colors: Lime green, navy blue, and black. I really like neon colors in general actually, not just green  Grin Grin Grin
a) not much really.

2) Not sure. Many great times. I like life in general, so anything exceptionally great just seems better than normal Grin
a) last yeear sucked pretty bad. Partly my fault.

3) not sure. Goes a little bit deeper than what I'm comfortable talking about. And not because of that, you inappropriate old farts (because I haven't and don't intend to until I've become committed). Partly because I have difficulty talking about my own feelings, so nothing really comes to mind

4) Too many things, from small to large. I miss my home in Pennsylvania, and the wonderful town around it. I miss my default ROM on my Android. I don't regret it, but definately a few things that came with it that I liked (Switched from Sense 2.1 to CM7)(if you have no idea what I'm talking about, then it doesn't matter)

5) Hmmmm....I'd like to talk to Martin Luther King Jr, and just show him what the world has become and thank him. I wand to meet Freddie Mercury, or at least let him see the DVD for the Tribute Concert at Wembley. I'd like to meet an honest politician as well, although I doubt I ever will. Some more honorable mentions go to SlingBadger, Ratman, and Mauro. unfortunately I probably won't for at least the next few years. Well actually, strike that I'd like to meet almost everyone on this forum Smiley

As far as the people you'd like to meet, Bruce Lee is a great one, Dan.  I wish I'd thought of him.  Would you ask him to free spar even though you know he'd make you look simple  minded?  I think I'd have to, knowing full well he'd probably put me through a wall.

Probably not surprising, since I'm so contrary, but I really don't like Bruce Lee.  I trained in Northern Shaolin Kung Fu and Xing Yi Quan with a student of Wong Jack Man, the guy who fought the famous duel with Bruce Lee in San Francisco in the 1960s, and let's just say that accounts of the duel differ enormously, as well as accounts of Bruce Lee's attitude and behavior.

I don't really know his personality as well as some of the other guys I would like to meet, but I do know he was a darn good fighter and it'd be a good chance to humble myself and learn. I think it'd be really cool to do some control bare hand sparring with him just to learn. As long as he doesn't hit my teeth, I'd be okay taking a few good hits.

Another Martial Artist I'd want to meet is the late Ed Parker, the founder of Kenpo Karate (my style). Not nearly as healthy as Lee, but amazingly fast, powerfull, and a genius when it came to empty hand combat.

Question 1 - Do you believe in Ghosts? 4: There are many events seen by every day people that have no explanation in the ways and means we have to comprehend. I believe there’s something out there but I don’t know what it is and just like everything else there’s too much open to interpretation.

Question 2 - Do you believe in UFO's. By UFO's I'm specifically speaking of extra terrestrial controlled crafts. 3: Ditto my answer from Question 1. It’s arrogant to think that earth is the center of the universe and the cradle of intelligent life. Again, there’s too much we don’t know. Look at what we’ve learned and know in the last 100 years. Think about what we’ll know in another 100, 200, 300 years. The sad thing is that I won’t be around to see it and I would really like to.

Question 3 - Do you believe in God/ A Universal Consciousness or anything that would otherwise fall into this category? 3: Ditto my answers from Question 1 and 2. If there is, god is not like anything we now or have before thought.

Question 4 - Do you believe in the possibility of time travel? 2: Moreover I hope we never ever do. Man built The Bomb; can’t come together across boundaries; we fight constantly amongst ourselves; we are never in agreement on what is important, mostly on religion – Do you really trust someone to travel forward or back in time? I don’t. We have no business going forward or back.

Question 5 - Do you believe in the possibility of human civilizations existing before, or even long before, the currently accepted time line?

Question 6 - Do you believe in Chi/Qi? 4: Hesitant to sound like a broken record (The record is a way to record music (or other sounds) that was popular during most of the twentieth century. If you’re unsure, ask your parents or grandparents) I believe that if there is, it’s bigger and more than we now have the ability to comprehend.
Question 7 - Would you give your life to save a stranger? I would like to think that I would.
Question 8 - Are you an animal lover? They all taste great.
Question 9 - Do you try to love your fellow man? More of a mutual respect.
Question 10 - Eye for an eye? No, because if we all practiced that we’d all be blind.
Question 11 - Do you believe civilians should be allowed to own guns? Yes
Question 12 - Do you believe in the death penalty? Yes

1. What are your favorite colors? Red
a). What are your least favorite colors? Anything trendy or with silly names like “Pennsylvania Independence Indigo”
2. Describe an amazing time in your life. There have been so many.
a) Describe a horrible time in your life. (skip this if you want.) There have been so few.
3. Briefly describe an interesting and/or amazing coincidence that has personally affected you. (i.e. involves you, or someone close to you)
4. Describe something small that you really missed once it was gone. When I was a kid I had this little Martian man/toy. His name was Keith. I lost him in the bushes in the front yard of my parents home and even now I occasionally look in the bushes in hopes of finding him.
5. Name any 3 people you would love to meet. (dead/alive, mythical etc. Doesn't matter.)
My wife’s parents. They were gone before we met.
Lewis or Clark after they came back from exploring the American West.
Any armourer or leathersmith from the height of the renaissance period.
