Mine is chicken breasts cooked on a bed of brown rice with bell peppers, onions, pineapple, garlic and soy/coke in a dutch oven over coals while telling ghost stories to terrified boy scouts on a dark and scary night................................

Reply #24 - Apr 24^th, 2012 at 3:19pm Can't say I have a real comfort food, but when I'm sick a mug of my wife's chawanmushi, or however it would be spelled, makes me feel a lot better. It's a sort of non-sweet custard with seafood in it, a bit salty, eaten with a spoon.
