seriously, such a place exists ?
I could have some fun there
As far as slinging in a forest goes - it just takes practice and the ability to adapt your slinging styles and sling lengths to your current environment. Most people tend to find one or two styles that suit them and stick with that. Then when they are somewhere those styles don't suit - they claim slinging in such a place is impossible. It most likely isn't, just needs different technique.
Bear in mind that hunting slings are generally fairly short, around 2 feet and that you would either use specialist ammunition (I would anyway) or quite substantial rocks. The idea of hunting larger mammals with a sling would be more about crippling or disabling an animal so you could catch it and dispatch with a knife or club, rather than kill it outright.
So brutal and messy - but that's pretty much any kind of hunting.
I've got a sneaking suspicion you're a good bit older than mauro thinks - but who knows.
