Would anyone be interested?
Apr 4th, 2012, 12:03pm

I just made a lightweight sling design based on the seat belt sling. It has a leather pouch and holds golf balls. Would anyone be interested in one for free? I like making them and want someone to try them out. They are kinda "futuristic" to me because the ends are whipped in fishing line and then cotton thread. They may not be pretty, but I doubt one will ever break throwing golf balls. I tend to focus on functionality.

This is version one. Notice the whipped ends are tied together, that won't be there on the next one. I have tried them out, and I like that they can easily slip into your pocket and are very strong.

Just comment or PM me if you are interested. I'll probably give away 5 or 6 so if you want one, tell me now. I think I can ship them in a letter so shipping shouldn't be an issue.

Nice whipping job.  You know what I would do? I would pull one strand of the innards out of that paracord, do west country whipping with it and then coat it with super glue.  Your work is really clean, keep it up.

No worries at all. This slings come from your generosity, not an order we placed. As such, to expect anything other than your timeline would be unfair to you. Take all the time you need Smiley
