One major difficulty is that we're an international site covering many time zones. I would like to use the chat once in a while but it just never seems to happen.

Reply #4 - Mar 18^th, 2012 at 11:50pm I've had some good chats in the past .... wait until a number of people are logged in (6-8) then in a new tab open a chat window. go back to your original window and start an I'm in chat room thread ; back to chat tab and see who enters the chat room. I've chatted with 4-5 people in a chat session that way.

It worked for a bit before going down the drain

Yeah I'm with kid too. we should definitely set up a time sometime in the near future where most of us can log on into chat. Obviously with most of the time change some people would have to get up in the middle of the night or workday so we'll see what we can get. If we can get at least 4-5 people it works.

However, before we get to that, how do we log in?

Reply #11 - Mar 19^th, 2012 at 1:41pm if you're going to post your timezone (and this is mainly for the americans) put + or - gmt. there is bugger all point in saying things like : I'm on pacific time. as it means nothing to anyone outside of the states Most people know how many hours plus or minus gmt they are. So that's a lot more useful

The international timezones can be confusing enough without having to try and explain mountain time to any sane individual
