very glad he's recovered.
Anything like that is traumatic.
Give him a treat from me Smiley

Thanks guys!

Tito recovered so fast that vets are going to release him tomorrow in the morning instead of waiting Saturday evening. I look forward to sleep with him again  Smiley
Paracordslinger, I can understand how you feel now. Just take hearth, he (or she) is waiting for you in another world; he's loyal and will wait decades. But you'll be together again; in the meanwhile keep living as if he's still on your side... a big hug!
Mauro.

Mauro, I'm very glad the old boy is doing well.  It's a trying, terrible time when a beloved pet is very ill.  paracordslinger, unfortunately the grief that you feel is part of owning a dog.  Usually you outlive them and have to deal somehow with loosing them.  Each of my dogs that  passed (6) holds a special place in my heart.  I love them unconditionally as they did me and I'll remember them as long as I live.  Eventually some of the grief will fade and you mostly remember the good times and the fun things about your dog.  I believe, as Mauro does,  that you'll see him again... in the end he'll be waiting for you.

Tito is at home right now, he's actually going around sniffing everything and he seems a little bit confused.
He's drinking now and I'm very glad he managed to survive  Smiley

Mauro.

Hey guys, thank you all!
I was so happy to spend time with my dog that I almost forgot this topic.
But I resume it today just to show you how well he recovered: here're some pics taken this morning, at the sea, where he met a lady called Giorgia:

WARNING: the following image contains adult material!!

Dogs are magic: Giorgia was playing roughly with Tito, and she pushed him twice. Tito, 11 years older than her, fell each time. Perhaps Giorgia understood his back is not strong as a younger dog's, and stopped shoving him.
PS I also trained in slinging this morning, I'll post a video soon.
Greetings,
Mauro.

When I saw that you reopened this topic my first thought was that Tito was sick again or worse.  I'm glad it's good news.  Tito has excellent taste in women!

Good looking dog Mauro. You can't love them too much. No matter how long they live.  Looking forward to the video.

Guys, Tito decided to left us 2 days ago. He's now in another world and I feel his spirit is always with me.
He's now young, strong and brisk again.
Too sad I was far from home when he passed away... but I'll meet him again, sooner or later.
He's now with his Mom and awaits for me, my Mom and Dad. We'll be reunited.
Greetings,
Mauro.

Oh Mauro, I am so so very sorry to hear about Tito. He was a wonderful dog and companion and I am sure you will miss him badly. I will raise a glass to him tonight. Cry
