Actually, it isn't. That isn't an orbital satellite, and it accelerated on its own power to build up most of that speed. Still, amazing technology and foresight to send that out into space in 1977.

I mean, none of them could ever really be daily drivers, but they seem to all be extremes in design. Frames, power, speed, lack of safety And i always thought the radial would work better the other way, but thats just me

here's a few pics i took with my phone.

hiking down yosemite on the 4 (.6) mile trail- perfect view of the valley, although it was quite arduous walking down because of improper footwear, and of the steep slope and slippery surface.

the line in the background is upper Yosemite falls, the tallest in the states.

and here's a shot of redwoods in Humboldt county.

another cool tree i found at Humboldt, there were no leaves and tons of lichens hanging off of it. reminds me of something from avatar.

There's no break, there's no end, just a-living on;&&Wide awake, with a smile, going on and on.
