That's a nicely made ammo bag Aurelio,i really like it! Does it hold the stones well when slinging?I mean when you turn your waist quickly don't they fall out if it's full?I use a quite heavy duty synthetic fiber haversack, but if it has more than 2kgs of stones in it,i prefer to put it down, because it messes up my slinging.

I have a fabulous wool shoulder bag that came from Colombia, traditionally used for harvesting coffee.  (sorry I do not have a pic, will try to get one and post it)  I think that something like this would work well, maybe modified a little bit, but as it is wool, I would guess that it would be the right material for a shepherds sling pouch.  It is hand spun and hand woven in a beautiful pattern.  No reason that it couldn't be replicated and modified to fit the needs of a slinger!!!
P.S.  I do not use this for an ammo pouch as it has sentimental value and I would hate to ruin it by carrying rocks, but I do think that the design would work well...  Again will post a pic if I get the chance...

Thanks all for congratulations. Yes, Jlasud, bag 2.8 kg full load without problems, does not move (low fixation, like as the bag gun in the far west), not fall the waist down, the ammunition inside stable while shooting, ambidextrous and vintage look . (spot of TV Shop: Oh, my life changed since I have this bag, I have no squatting all the time!, ammunition is always available to me. Hurry up, call now. Do not miss this this time) Ha, ha

wow, some nice sling pouchesin this thread.. me likes  Cheesy

nice work on the weaving too Aurelio.

here is a pic of the bag I use when I'm slinging, I crotched it out of jute, and so far it has very little signs of wear  Smiley

I've had this idea for a while to expand upon stormdrane's paracord pouch design. He uses a soda can as a form to weave this pouch, and from what i can tell, it can be done on any shape/size form (IE shepard's pouch).

cool. i/m going to try to make this bag. thank you for the link Wayfarer...

It's a great bag, Kava, looks very well finished. Congratulations. From what I see going over the shoulder, is not it better in the waist? The fabric reminds me of my mother some work done with crochet.
