That really was some brilliant shooting there by those guys. Some really good consistency within their shots and its always nice to hear that ring of metal when they hit the centre.
Where they throwing dried clay balls?

Always great to see videos of other slingers at this level, especially within communities as wide as the ones shown (from younger 20s, to older generations). It really inspires you with confidence and helps you tell yourself, I could reach that level some day Cheesy

Must be nice to live in a sosiety where slinging is considered normal, must make practice must easier. Bet most of those exelent slingers don`t have to hide away to sling off a few shots

He makes a perfect bull´s eye starting at 2:06. Right in the center

Gregorio´s shot starting at 3:00 smashed the projectile. are those rocks or concrete?

I believe they use rock as part of the tradition.

I'm fairly sure it was 20m. There is a small tree behind the fence which appears about 2/3 the way down in the longer distance scenes.

(According to their web site they sling at 30 and 45 paces, with a pace being 65cm, which works out at a little bit less than 20 and 30m.)
