martial arts or bushcraft section ?
Jul 31st, 2010 at 9:47pm

Hey just wondering if we could have either a seperate section for martial arts or bushcraft I know most of the people that are intrested in in slinging and primitive weapons are also intrested in the subjects above and was wondering if we could if we could have a separate section for these subjects, if it cost extra money its no problem if we dont have it , just curious.

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.&&&&Remember - You are unique.............just like everybody else.

think you'll find that other topics and other primitive weapons covers it quite nicely.

I'm not a fan of sites where there are hundreds of seperate topics.
So any new sections will only ever be added reluctantly and after much debate lol
And not at all if one of the existing areas already covers it.

I am interested in Martial Arts and Bushcraft, but I agree with C_A. What we have now works for us.

Massi - WTF? It's called a sling. You use it to throw rocks farther and faster than you could otherwise. That's all.

I think we need to keep the Forum geared towards Slinging and not go off on too many tangents.

Agreed. There are already hundreds or thousands of websites about the other topics existing. This one is about slinging.

I think the bushcraft part is worth thinking about.

I think the bushcraft part ...

The occasional Bushcraft fits nicely into either 'Other Topics' or 'Other Primitive Weapons'
depending on the specific topic being discussed.

If I want an unending number of different primitive forums I'll go to
www.paleoplanet.net the Paleoplanet site ... lots o good
bushcraft folks there.
I'm there at least once a day for my archery, atlatal and bladesmithing web fix.

If I want M.A. I'll lurk Martial Arts specific forums (I'm partial to stick work of all types)

This is a very focused group with a lot of contributors for a very specific item; the end result is a lot
of easily accessible knowledge about the sling from its simplest forms to its most complex.

its a nice idea, but i agree that what we have works fine, its simple and works, and more sections will just get confusing.
