Inexpensive throwing axes
Jul 28th, 2010, 11:35am

Here is a list of good throwing axes for$31 or less. All are from KultofAthena.com
I have no connection with this company but have received excellent service and quality products at great prices.
Some of these axes have handles of a softer wood which is more prone to breakage but handles are cheap to replace and the ax heads are worth more than the price of the ax.
Authentic axes:
Francesca ax         #6147     $19.95
Norse ax               #6146     $24.95
Throwing ax          #6148     $24.95
Viking bearded ax  #6145     $24.95
Viking throwing ax #xnh52    $29.95
Hanwei Viking ax   #pc2042   $30.95
Here are two that are not authentic but are good throwers and fun to throw. They are 1 piece all steel:
Blackjet     #kr0036b   $29.95
Screamer  #600488     $29.95

This is the one I want...

I wouldn't be able to swing it for very long, but as nasty as that thing is, I wouldn't need to.

Unfortuantely, the first 'hawk I bought was lost in a fire. Never even found the head. I replaced it at the local rendezvous, but I sure miss my original one. Haven't shopped at KultofAthena yet, but I have my eye on a few things there. Thanks for the link!
