Hello from Dallas
Feb 28th, 2010, 2:38am

I came across your site via Paleoplanet.net.
Fascinated by the technology and skills in using such simple materials to such effect.
Working on my first atlatl may (God help my neighbors) try slinging as well

Perchance you've already read the advice for beginners to start slinging with tennis balls as ammo. They are not too dangerous for people and property, and they look less martial  Smiley

I had heard that before, IIRC the SCA use them as ammo fro slings, fustibali and siege engines.

This is the "ex member" Lilianna. When first I tried logging into this site I got a pop up asking fro a user name and password. I entered my login info and then today find I am an ex member without explanation.
How very annoying. It appears I got phished or hacked and now am changing/checking my login at Paleo Planet
If anything was done in my Name I am sorry to have been so used.

Greetings Marilith,

Please accept my sincere apologies for your deletion and thank you for your persistence and patience. I fear it may have been me. We have had a lot of trouble with spammers lately and I may have accidentally deleted you in the cleanout process.

Regards,
