I've decided to try and cut down the amount of aggro on the forum. both the conservapedia thread and the 88% rise in gun crime thread were getting people a little too worked up.  
 
Thought about it a lot - but at the end of the day my job is to try and make the forum as user friendly and welcoming as possible. And I've about had it with people who can't conduct a rational argument without getting steamed up about it and resorting to personal slurs and attacks (not just you 2 lol (yeah you know who you are).  
We had s similiar situation a few years ago and it didn't end happily, so this time i decided to nip things in the bud.
 
For the forseable future I'll be removing any threads I feel get out of hand or seem designed for no other purpose  than to get people worked up.  
 
On the whole the vast majority of forum members conduct themselves with common sense and maturity - particularly considering the young age of some of you  
But even sensible people can get worked up about certain topics.  
So for the time being consider us a conflict free zone
 
It doesn't mean you have to be super careful about what you post - there are very few threads that ever become totally devisive.  Just try not to wind other members up too much

yep I would deem that a personal attack on another forum member.  
you'd get a verbal slap on the wrist and the topic would vanish.  
 
If we all play nice nobody needs to have anything deleted, which is how i like it.  
 
All i'm asking is that you give your fellow forum members the same respect you expect them to give you.
The vast majority already do, so it shouldn't be any big deal
