bamboo arrow quiver
Aug 30th, 2009 at 2:53am

last season while i was in the woods squirrel hunting i noticed how my arrows would move around and make noise and even pull out when they got caught by brush.
my quiver can hold over a dozen arrows and thats fine when im target practising (or fighting a battle  Grin) but for a days hunt i didnt want to hafta keep up with a dozen arrows.

so ive been working on this for a couple days.i can carry 4-6 arrows quitly now since they arent bouncing around in a large quiver, it can hold 4 broad heads, i could fit 5 in it but i have trouble drawing them smoothly. but for blunts or targets i should be able to get 6 in it.

Thanks guys, my other quiver is nicer in my opinion ,it's made from a rolled bamboo mat. But I'm pretty happy with them both

That thing is beautiful.  I have one I made out of 2" PVC working off the same idea, but it doesn't look nearly as good.

if that is all you need, what will you use for the bow, the ruler?

Cheesy i actually did once with a flexible wooden ruler, snapped though Embarrassed

i have some wooden board, the grain is right, but their are a few knots in it (no where crucial)

I dont think you can have ANY knots at all, no matter where they are, at least thats what the tutorial I read said.

Well, I'm out of luck, then!

Very cool quiver, where did you get the bamboo?
