Medieval Braiding Website
Aug 2nd, 2009 at 8:38pm

I have used this website for references on braiding for a couple of my historical sling replicas.
I think the owner is a friend of Slingbadger (or at least knows him by reputation)

http://www.stringpage.com/index.html

On a side note as soon as I find my Bleeping USB cable. I will be posting a Boat load of Pics of my slings, retired, Active and Historical Replicas.

Only by reputation. She is a highly respected Laurel.
Nithgaard is in AEthelmearc, but I really don't travel that way that much.

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.&&&&Remember - You are unique.............just like everybody else.

Me and Slingbadger are members of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) Which hopefully explains our work in medieval and rennisance slinging. We are from Diffrent regions though he's up in New York and I'm down In Oklahoma.

To translate for ya he gave her Society name, (Nithgard) and location (Aethelmearc= Northern New York)
and her rank in the Society (Laurel= Highest Arts and Science Award of our organization)

When I was corresponding with her 'bout 18 months ago 'Badger she dropped your SCA name which is what lead me to think she knew ya personaly.

Nithgaard is the group she is from. That is kind of in central PA. I may have seen her at events and stuff, but I'm terrible at remembering peoples names sometimes. I think I've made some bone needles for her. Anyway, like I said, her stuff is good, and her reputation solid.
