nah i havent ran anything through with it lol. they arent realy for throwing, since most were 8-10 foot. they were used from horseback

once i had everything i need for it it didnt take no time at all Smiley just a few hours of enjoyable work

by the way the rawhide came from of of those dog chew bones. just soak it in water over night and itll untwist .then you can cut it or do whatever you need to do.

the shaft is poplar. not very strong but i got it from lowes so it was easy to obtain .that was my trade off lol

i like poplar! it's soft but strong and has a beautiful grain. i use douglas fir for most of my shafts. it's a soft wood also but flexible and strong as hell.
