i dont have any pics of mine but a few weeks ago i dug two oak root balls. i guess they dried too quickly and cracked. the balls themselves arent cracked very badly but the shafts are. is there any treatment i can do for this or do i need to start over again. and what should i do next time to remedy this problem???

You could bind the heck out of the shafts, it would keep them together and might look cool too.

The one  on the top looks like and Iroquois  war club. Very deadly in battle. Sometimes they had a single spike in the middle of the ball.

Wow. I may have to try my hand at something like that. We have Shoshone/Bannock tribes around here, and Shoshone/Paiute tribes where I grew up. I ought to research what they did.
