Heavier is not better - I thought - is self explanatory.
If you go for a slinging session and start small and work your way up, after about 4 oz things start going shorter distances and your arm hurts more: ergo, heavier is not better

I did qualify my answer by pointing out that what you need is density and an aerodynamic shape and good technique.

Like I said it is never personal (with the very very rare exception).
If you wish to read meanings that i haven't said - I can't stop you doing that. But I'm a pretty direct person, if I think it's crap I'll say so
