I spent some time yesterday and all today's morning knapping an arrowhead from the bottom of a colored beer bottle (Indio, by the way ) i finished a couple hours ago, and it definitely looked great, the best arrowhead I HAVE MADE by far. i followed instructions i found on these forums.
but while i was looking at it i dropped it (im clumsy sometimes), it hitted the floor and broke into four pieces. i almost cried from frustration, and with a lot of effort i resisted throwing them over the backyard wall. Now ive calmed down, collected the pieces, and thought, "why not posting these in the forums?, that way my work wont pass unnoticed and i can feel better" shame i didnt take a photo of it complete, but here they are.

the first picture is how would it look like if it hadn't broken, but im missing a small chunk. The finger is there to give an idea of the size it has.

and this is just the tip of the arrowhead, it survived pretty well, maybe i could still use it?, maybe it still works for small game ? , i put it against the window so you could see better. by the way, the fields you see are Oaxaca, at least part of it

thanks for the replies, by the way xxxkid123, do you think the superglue could really hold it together for it to be usable? ive no idea

yes, I'm pretty sure super glue could, but
a) you might need to laminate the part in contact cement or something to make it good as new
b) if it hits bone it might break.
c)if the super glue is bad, and sorta dries rubber-like, it may resist against piercing

thanks Aardvark! im trying to, but i can´t find another bottle bottom, and even if i did i dont have time till weekend. and even i may not be able to because i want to braid/weave a new sling
